Sair Fair

The Sair Fair is very famous in Arki. It is an annual two-day event held at Arki in the month of Ashwin Sankranti in September. The fair was famous for the buffalo fight. Local people used to train their buffaloes for this event. There is a lot of crowd in Arki at this fair. But this event is not happening since 2015. Every year lakhs of people from far and wide come to the fair. The night programs at this fair are always different. And the people of Arki enjoy this day to the fullest.

Arki is well connected by road, and the nearest major city is Solan, which is about 40 kilometers away. It takes 1 hr 44 min from Shimla to Arki and 3 hrs from Chandigarh to Arki. You will find hotels to stay in near Arki otherwise you can also stay in Solan. By the way, Arki can roam anytime throughout the year. But The best time to visit Arki is during the summer months of April to June when the weather is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities.
