Yami Gautam is an Indian actress and model. He was born on 28 November 1988 in a Hindu Brahmin family in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, India. Her father Mukesh Gautam is a Punjabi film director. And he is also the Vice President of PTC Network. Her mother is Anjali Gautam. She has a younger sister Surili Gautam and a younger brother Ojas Gautam. Her sister has also acted in the Punjabi film Power Cut. She did his schooling at Yadavindra Public School, Chandigarh, and later completed his graduation in law with honors from Punjab University, Chandigarh. She is an environment lover. In Himachal Pradesh, She has her own greenhouse and organic garden. She loves reading books, decor home, and listing to a song.

At the age of 20, he decided to move to Mumbai to start an acting career. Yami Gautam started her career as a model in Mumbai. Her first TV commercial was for Glow & Lovely. After doing this advertisement, she becomes very popular. She got initial success after playing the lead role in TV shows like Chand Ke Paar Chalo. They work on many TV serials like Rajkumar Aaryyan, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, Meethi Choori No 1, Kitchen Champion Season 1, and CID – Episode 642 – Kabarwali Ladki.
She works in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films. She also works in Vicky Donor, Total Siyapa, Action Jackson, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Junooniyat, Kaabil, Sarkar 3, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Uri – The Surgical Strike, Bala, Ginny Weds Sunny, and Bhoot Police.

In 2012, Yami Gautam won the Rising Film Star Award, Best Film debut, Star debut of the year, and most stylish Unconventional Actress for the movie Vicky Donor. In 2020 she won the award for Best Comedian for the “Bala” Movie. She won Lux Golden Rose Awards and ETC Bollywood Business Awards.
On 4 June 2021, Yami Gautam married Aditya Dhar in her hometown Mandi Himachal Pradesh in the presence of 20 guests. Aditya Dhar is an Indian director, lyricist, and screenwriter who work on Hindi movies. They start dating during the promotion of Uri – The Surgical Strike.
