Bhursingh Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Panwa village of Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh, India. Bhursingh Mahadev Temple is situated in Nahan tehsil of Sirmaur district. This temple was apparently built by Govind Bharati, who was the maternal grandfather of Raja Jagat Singh. The full name of the temple is ‘Bhurishringa Nath Mahadev’, named after the Tapas who established this temple. Bhurshing Mahadev place is also famous for tourism. Divya Shila

Divya Shila is a huge rock, which is situated just behind the temple. Beyond this rock is a steep rock. It is said that the priests here dance in this rock. The Divya Shila is slightly inclined, which makes it difficult to stand on it. There is a very deep chasm under the rock from where the fear of falling remains. Now no one is allowed to go here. Many people throw coins on this rock. It is believed that if your coin rests on a rock, your wish will come true.

How to Reach

The temple can be reached near a place called Panwa through the link road from the Solan-Nahan highway. The road is not in good condition so it is advised to proceed with caution. A large number of people come here from Chandigarh and surrounding areas. The views from the temple are breathtaking, and the surrounding serene mountains and open spaces for strolling. The journey from Solan to the temple is around 1 to 1:30 hours. And it takes almost the same time to go from Nahan. And Sarahan is 30 minutes drive.
