Priyanka Negi was born on 21 May 1995 in Shillai, Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Priyanka Negi is an Indian professional Kabaddi player. Negi has also been the captain of the Indian Kabaddi team. In 2016, She was given a job in the Himachal Police under the sports quota. At that time it was the tenure of Virbhadra Sarkar. Priyanka’s first posting was in Kullu. Negi had joined as a sub-inspector. She got a promotion in 2017 and is now an Inspector.

Negi was born in Shillai Sirmaur and did his schooling at Shillai School. His father Kanwar Singh Negi is a farmer and his mother Sunita Negi is a housewife. He started playing Kabaddi during school time. His mentor was Late Hira Singh PTI. Late Hira Singh PTI had made many children successful in Kabaddi. He was the pride of the Shillai School. She used to be the captain of her team during school time. After this, in 2006, she went to Sports Hostel Bilaspur to take Kabaddi training. From there his career started.
Career
Priyanka Negi joined the Indian team from the year 2006 after taking training in Kabaddi at Sports Hostel Bilaspur. Priyanka and her team won the South Asian gold medal in Sri Lanka in 2011. And in 2012 won the first Women’s Kabaddi World Cup in Patna. And in 2013 won a gold medal at the 3rd Asian Beach Games in China.
She made her international debut in 2011 at the South Asian Beach Games in Indonesia. At that time India had won the gold medal. In 2016, she represented India at the 12th South Asian Games held in Guwahati, India, and won another gold medal. And in 2018, her team won the silver medal in the Asian Games. She has won about 15 medals in the National Games. In the year 2012, Priyanka Negi has also been awarded Parshuram Award by Himachal Pradesh Government.

She engaged to Saurabh Sharma, a resident of the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Saurabh Sharma is a Dermatologist at Bilaspur Hospital. Their engagement ceremony took place at a private hotel in Nahan, Sirmaur. Her family and some relatives were present there for the engagement.
