Vikramaditya Singh is an Indian Politician. He is a member of the INC (Indian National Congress). He is the son of the former Chief Minister Late Raja Virbhadra Singh. On 8 July 2021, after the death of his father, he becomes a King of the erstwhile princely state of Bushahr. He was coronated in a private ceremony at Rampur’s Padam Palace on 10 July 2021.
Vikramaditya Singh Earlier Life
Vikramaditya was born on 17 October 1989 in the royal family of Bushehr princely state of Shimla district. His father’s name is Late Raja Virbhadra Singh and his mother’s name is Pratibha Singh. His mother is also a politician. They have one sister Aparajita Singh, and four step-sisters Jyotsna Singh, Anuradha Kumari, Abhilasha Kumari, and Meenakshi Singh. He completes his intermediate Education at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla. During his school day, they participated in a Rifle shooting competition and represent his state at the national level. And he also won the bronze medal in this competition in 2007. Then he completes his graduation with B.A from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, New Delhi. And he completes his post-graduation in M.A. from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He loves reading biographies and historical books and also loves cycling and Mountaineering.
Political Carrier
He start his political carrier in 2013. From 2013 to 2017 he was elected to Himachal Pradesh state youth congress president. He was also appointed as the director of the Himachal Vikas Nigam in 2015. He also won as a member of the Legislative Assembly from the Shimla Rural constituency in 2017. And now again they serve as a member of the Legislative Assembly from Shimla Rural constituency.
Personal Life
On 8 March 2019, Vikramaditya married Sudarshana Chundawat. She is the princess of the Amet royal family of Rajasthan. She is a digital illustrator, Art connoisseur, and photographer. Both were married at Kanotagarh Palace in Kanota village of Udaipur.
